FISE World Edmonton 2016

LOGAN MARTIN BACK ON HIS KING SEAT

19 Sep 2016 07:21

And this is how the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup becomes super exciting. After being almost out of the picture, Daniel Dhers could not do more than a 7th place and confirmed his lack of inspiration on the Edmonton set up. In the meantime, Logan Martin regains the seat of the leader that suits him so well. At the top of his riding, he wins logically with unbelievable flow and consistency. His back and forth 360 transfers around the box jump and the camel jump was one of the most impressive sequence of the weekend.

Nick Bruce takes the second place and confirms his outsider status he might share now with Brandon Loupos. The two solids guys have a similar riding. They know how to pull out some big tricks at height and don’t miss anything as well.

Young Jeremy Malott from Arizona continues to surprise us and thanks to controlled runs he picks up a surprising 4th place. Colton Walker is 5th with a clean run as usual, even he didn’t launch everything he wanted, he managed to pull first try a Twist (a mix of barspin and whip at the same time) at the best trick. Marin Rantes could have been the upset of the day but he crashed on a 720 whip. Pulled right after, he proved that he was not too far from the top.
With this win Logan takes back the leader seat of the world cup, with 200 more points before the final stage in Chengdu, China looks like it will be wild.
