COME TO MONTEUX

Let’s get ready for the 3rd leg of the FISE Xperience Series tour, and this time we’re heading to Monteux. Located in the heart of the Beaulieu EcoQuarter in Provence, Lake Monteux is a leisure centre open all year round. For the very first time, a stage of the tour takes place here on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June, featuring Wakeboard and BMX Dirt. Le Parc Wave Island participates in and supports the Festival.

How to get there ?

Located at the foot of Mont Ventoux, just 15 minutes from Avignon, it’s convenient and easy to get to the event by car, train or bus. Here is all the practical information you’ll need!

How to register for the competition ?

Nothing could be simpler as everything is on line in the rider area of FISE.FR: just follow the guide. And if you’re a minor, don’t forget you need parental consent.
The event is FREE for all spectators!

What to do in Monteux and its surroundings ?

It’s an opportunity to visit somewhere you might not know to do some sightseeing. We’ve selected 5 things you might want to do in Monteux:

- Discover Wave Island Park, its exotic tropical atmosphere and 17 attractions, either with family or friends. Make sure you try out the most graded surf simulator in the world (as approved by the GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS!)
- Dance on the bridge at Avignon
- Go for a walk around the ochre quarries of Roussillon – a great spot for mountain biking too!

- Chill out by the lake at "Snack de la Dune" : ice creams, cocktails, things from the grill ... give your taste buds a treat!
- Monteux « by night » : at the main entrance to the city, admire the Carrefour des Artificiers memorial with its colourful lights reminiscent of fireworks.
