FISE World Montpellier 2016

WAKEBOARDING IN VIDEO

10 Jun 2016 14:29

Flashback in pictures with this special wakeboarding highlights video shot during the FISE World Montpellier this past may. Remember… Wakeboarding at the FISE is a tradition, but also a passion that never ceases to evolve. This year the wakepark was improved with a second cable and, beyond the classic kickers, we liked the raised pool which was built between two sets of rails. We also have again a tilted wall, a big tube and that vertical wall so typical of the FISE.

Oka Guenther ends up on the first step of the podium, the judges liked his consistency and his clean runs. Daniel Grant, who came from Bangkok, is the crowd's favorite and finishes in second place. The Austrian Timo Kapel is barely 18 years old and doesn't plan to let himself be intimidated but on a frontside 1080, he falls at the end of his run and consequently can't reach the first place. Enjoy this cool video as it makes the FISE last a bit longer one more time…
