3x3 Basketball is coming to Montpellier for this 2024 edition! 💪

3x3 basketball, the classic urban sport based on the free and creative practice of street basketball, was included in the list of Olympic sports at the Tokyo 2020 Games. For the first time, the sport will be part of the FISE Montpellier 2024 programme on the Place de la Mairie, where access remains free and open to all. 3x3 is managed and organized by the Fédération Internationale de BasketBall (FIBA) at world level and by the Fédération Française de BasketBall (FFBB) at national level. The expansion of the 3x3 World Tour and the 3x3 Superleague in France testifies to the incredible growth of this young, urban sport, where entertainment and DJs ensure an electric atmosphere!

FFBB 3X3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT IN COLLABORATION WITH THE HÉRAULT BASKETBALL COMMITTEE

This year in Montpellier, 8 Pro Men's teams and 8 Pro Women's teams will be battling it out on the Place Georges Frêche for a top-class competition, as well as 5 U16 Boys' teams and 5 U16 Girls' teams.

As for the atmosphere, the iconic duo of Jamil Rouissi, one of the best-known voices in French basketball, and DJ Lass, basketball expert and DJ at the Tokyo Games, will be electrifying the Place de la Mairie and festival-goers alike!
