On february 4th, Dave Mirra left us all sad, very sad ; with so many memories climbing up the ladder of his extraordinary career. These past days, we enjoyed many stories about him, from friends, fans or even the mass media who had only good things to say and show about him. We smiled and got amazed again by his fantastic riding. We remembered and realised how big was Dave for Bmx, what a beautiful person he was.
Some images came back to our mind here at FISE as we were diving through the archives to find this footage from his world first wall to flair in 2003, at the Nokia Fise in Montpellier, Grammont. With his teammate Ryan Nyquist, he was the hero of the Haro team, like back in 1999 when he first came to FISE in Palavas to do the famous toilets gap with a bus driver. In 2008 he went back to the FISE with his new Mirraco team and dropped a flip 36 condor to finish 9th, a couple of years later he was done with competition, and with a very intense life. Thank you Dave.
