Big Names in a Big City

25 Oct 2017 11:06
FISE World Series Chengdu begins next week. We’ve got some of the biggest names in action sports flying out to become part of the 14.5m people living in the city.

BMX, Roller, Mountain Bike and Skate. There’s more than enough in Chengdu for you to feast your eyes upon next week, and here are the athletes to pay special attention to…

Julien Cudot

Currently sitting atop the leader board with rival Godenaire, Cudot always puts on a show at FISE. A firm fan favourite in Montpellier, Chengdu is the Frenchman’s chance to claim a second-straight FISE World Series Roller title.
Will he keep his nerve?

Mehdi Gani

His bike will be going down the slopes, but Gani knows it’s an uphill battle to take the overall Series win. With Nicholi Rogatkin out of the picture, the Frenchman knows he has a chance in Chengdu to flip the odds in his favour.
Which show-stoppers is he going to bring to China?

Joseph Garbaccio

The 19 year old stole the show in Montpellier with some impressive lines, making full use of the custom-built FISE Park.

Performing abroad is a different story - can this kid carry over his homeland form to Chengdu?
