FISE World Edmonton 2016

LOGAN MARTIN IN TOP SHAPE, DANIEL DHERS VERY CLOSE FROM BEING OUT

18 Sep 2016 03:41

We came close from a surprise on the BMX Park with Daniel Dhers’qualification in 12th  place just before Drew Bezanson who does not make it to the finals and will have to only compete in the MTB finals. Behind, the best of the circuit do the job, especially Logan Martin who pleases us with his delicate mix of amplitude and big tricks. His transfer from the double to the lip of the fun box…in double truck is without a doubt the biggest trick of the weekend so far. Also Brandon Loupos’cashroll invert, Brandon who could be a serious contender for sunday’s final ; just like Nick Bruce who was literally on fire on both of his runs. Flawless and with very high flairs, he comes in second place behind Logan. Nice surprise with the young Croat Marin Rantes who will have to confirm his 3rd place in final. Colton Walker, Kevin Peraza, Josh Perry, Declan Brooks, Jack Clark and Alex Coleborn secure their spot relatively easy while we are happy to see a new head making it to the final. Qualified in ninth, the young American Jeremy Malott will be the rookie on sunday.
A very promising final as Daniel Dhers will need to send his best riding as soon as he rolls in.
