Roller Freestyle Park : Diako Diaby fly to the Gold medal

Hot weather and hot tricks, the roller freestyle finals went off in style here in Châteauroux! For the second stop of the FISE European Series, French powerhouse Diako Diaby (photo) from Paris didn't waste any time and scored an unbeatable 90.66 on his first, high amplitude run, putting pressure on his opponents right away. His mentor Romain Godenaire threw a massive double backflip on the box to start both his runs but couldn't climb higher than 3rd place, with Montpellier champion and young dad Jeremy Melique taking second after he put together a flawless run, packed with technical moves and big spins. A solid podium, and a solid introduction for Freestyle Roller on these new series!
