The first introduction of breakdance at FISE Montpellier, was a big success! The kids hyped up the crowd like never before!

The WDSF Breaking Open Series qualifiers, in partnership with the FFD, took place this Wednesday afternoon on the Flatland area of the banks of Lez. 23 dancers were in competition and only the 4 best were selected by our  Jury, composed of three internationally renowned B-boys. The qualifications were in the form of team battles. The winners of this first stage were Matix, Sam, Ludo and Mathis.

Everyone gathered on the dirt zone from 21h to attend the final stages of the competition. 8 dancers were in contention: Our 4 qualified and 4 b-boys already pre-selected. The kids faced each other face to face and the jury had to choose the best from each round. Dj Cleon platinum selected the tunes and the battles were intense, very tight, the suspense was immense. The public were entertained with the crazy aerial figures, somersaults, acrobatics and above all a good dose of style! It was finally Lucky who won in the final against Mathis by split decision of the jury, two ways against one. The Final was neck and neck and ended with a thunderous applause from the audience.

A successful first! After this appetizer make sure to join us this afternoon for the adult competition. The qualifications will take place on the flat zone from 17:15 to 18:00 and the finals from 21:55 to Dirt.
