Due to the COVID-19 global situation, Hurricane Group, in coordination with cycling governing body the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), have decided to cancel the 2020 UCI BMX Freestyle Park and Flat World Cup series.

Hurricane Group had already cancelled the Montpellier round planned to happen in May, then postponed in August. FISE Montpellier, which hosts one stop of the UCI BMX Freestyle Park and Flat World Cups, has been transformed into E-FISE, an innovative online video contest (www.e-fise.com).

The Hiroshima round planned in April then rescheduled in November, can’t physically take place as well as the Chengdu round,  scheduled in October.

Herve André-Benoit, Hurricane Group CEO, states that “it is our role, as UCI World Cups organizers, to take the right decisions for the sake of athletes and all participants in such challenging time. Such a decision is hard to take but riders and national federations need clear information”.
