Non- Stop Action in the Men’s BMX Freestyle Semi-Final

02 Nov 2019 07:58

24 riders from all over the world qualified for today’s UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup Men’s Semi- Final, but only 12 could progress to tomorrow’s final. Each rider had 2 runs of 60” to impress and it was the best run that would count. The level was insane and the top spots was constantly changing.

Rim Nakamura from Japan came out on top with a huge score of 93.20 points. The young rider held nothing back landing combo after combo so cleanly including a Barspin to No hander and a Triple Barspin. The air he gets as he charges around the course is unreal, no doubt the judges scored him highly for amplitude. He took 2nd at FISE Hiroshima back in April, can he go better and get 1st tomorrow?

In 2nd place was Declan Brooks representing team GB, who produced a really unique run which included a manual into a barspin that was sooo impressive. He scored a big 92.00 pts.

3rd spot was taken by Nick Bruce from Ohio in the USA who was yesterday’s top qualifier. He covered the whole course and included a big transfer tailwhip in his run today. He scored 91.20 pts.

Join us tomorrow at 4:00pm local time for the LIVE FINAL.
