The conditions could not have been more perfect here at Aarhus Water Sports Complex for the first day of the IWWF 2 Tower Cable Wakeboard World Cup, which is taking place as part of the Aarhus Urban Sports Festival.  The sun was shining and the riders were hyped to test their skills on this quick and technical wake park.  First up on the agenda was girls training, and the ladies didn’t hold back as they began to work out their lines ahead of tomorrow’s qualifying contest, which you can follow from 1pm local time on FISE Social Media Channels.

In the afternoon it was the turn of the guys to take to the water and try to earn themselves a place in Saturday's Semi-Final. There were 4 groups of 5 riders from all around the world who wanted to put together their best performances to impress the Judges and the crowds who had gathered round the water's edge to watch the Pro Men in action.   The top 2 from each group automatically secured themselves a place in the semis and the qualifiers so far are as follows:

Stefan Hahn

Albin Randow

Gatti Leonardo

Simon Pettai

Enzo Asseraf

Joey Battleday

Axel Paget

Clement Nadal

All is not lost for the riders that didn't make the cut as there are still 4 more places on offer which will be decided in tomorrow’s “Last Chance Qualifier. So be sure to stay tuned to see which of the guys makes the cut.
